Who doesn't need a website? Give them this page's address and trust me they will change their minds. A "Site" can be any page you handle, control and present online. It can be your Facebook\LinkedIn account, your local business directory's index, your personal blog on blogspot, your Wordpress website or your fully-featured online website - anyone has their "Interspot".
How will that Interspot help you? If you have a business, naturally, the answer is self-explanatory, as you will always appreciate it when you are able to monetize your exposure. Other than that, you may consider yourself a "Private" person... But: When you Google your name, some results may actually be about you.
Real "Private" persons are extincting fast and are sometimes people who really try to resist the internet, or are just too old and unable to get a grip of tech things... Therefore, since obscurity is not an option, the private person has to control their identity online.
The side "perks" are somewhat personal, such as learning about this new world, being creative, and for some, even replacing therapy and understanding better what they are all about.
